I’m Tanya, a natural light pet photographer, nestled on the Upper West Side and to me pets aren't just pets; they're family. My lens is mostly focused on capturing dogs and their humans around New York and the sandy shores of Fire Island.
 
Life threw me some curveballs when I traded the calm of Finland for the vibrant chaos of NYC.  In those uncertain times, the camera became my refuge; my artistic outlet. Photography became my passion and through it I made my lemonade out of the Big Apple lemons.
 
When my dog Matilda joined our family, I knew I had found my calling of combining my passion for photography with my eternal, crazy love of animals. In my opinion, every dog is absolutely perfect! I am inspired by their unconditional love. Each photograph I capture is more than just an image of a pet; it's my personal love letter from New York.
